Is it us or does this awards season seem like it’s rolling out fast and furious? We were treated to the double whammy of the 2024 Golden Globes and Emmy Awards, serving up red carpet inspo aplenty, and now it’s time for the 2024 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, AKA the SAGs. This event is special because the stars themselves vote for their peers in both film and TV categories, and they were ready to celebrate each other — while turning out some major red carpet looks, obviously. When the guest list includes Jennifer Aniston, Lily Gladstone, Selena Gomez, and Margot Robbie, among many others, you tune in and take notes!

Trend-wise, we saw lots of bobs, including a flippy style on The Color Purple star Taraji P. Henson and a soft wave on Penélope Cruz. If you’re looking for spring makeup inspo, think pink; rosy shades were all over the red carpet, especially on the eyes and lips.

Below, check out the best celebrity hair, makeup, and nail looks from the SAG Awards.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph

Da’Vine Joy Randolph, who won a trophy for her role in The Holdovers, absolutely glowed in a softly curled blonde bob with a deep side part. A wash of light gold eye shadow and rosy gloss added to her superstar shine.

America Ferrera

Getty Images

Barbie star America Ferrera wore her hair slicked back in a timeless low chignon, perfect for her equally timeless strapless black Dior dress. Stylist Aviva Jansen Perea channeled a “chic but modern French woman” for the look, using Kristin Ess products to bring the vision to life. Perea prepped Ferrera’s wet hair with Instant Lift Thickening Spray, then dried it. Once the hair was dry, Perea used a flat iron on the super short hair at the back of Ferrera’s neck, then smoothed with the brand’s Titanium Curling Iron 1 1/4”. Working in small sections, Perea used a clean mascara wand and a “big scoop” of the Depth Defining Soft Matte Pomade to coat the star’s hair, sweeping it into an elastic and forming the hair into a simple bun.

Emma Stone

Getty Images

If you look closely, you’ll see that not only is Emma Stone wearing a raspberry lip, she’s wearing a similar delicate pink shade on her lids too! (Her exact lip: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick in Rose to Fame.) Hairstylist Mara Rozak was inspired by the custom beaded Louis Vuitton gown, creating a “very fresh, youthful, and modern twist” for the star.

First, Rozak prepped Stone’s hair a combo of with RŌZ Milk Hair Serum and Nexxus Epic Shine Anti-Humidity Spray, then blew it dry and added Velcro rollers for a little volume. Rozak teased the hair at the crow, then pulled it back into a tight, low ponytail and wrapped it into a bun. Rozak locked the style in for the night with Nexxus XXL Volume Medium Hold Hairspray and another spritz of Nexxus Epic Shine Anti-Humidity Spray.

Taraji P. Henson

The flippy bob continues its reign as one of the prevailing red carpet trends for awards season, and Taraji P. Henson’s take is gorgeous, per usual. Her sparkly pink eye and nails mimicked the pale pink gemstones of her serpent choker necklace.

Lily Gladstone

The The Killers of the Flower Moon star wore her hair pulled halfway up in a braid, with the rest worn straight and down her back. Stylist Marc Mena was inspired by the fringe on Gladstone’s Armani Privé gown. After blowing out the actor’s hair, he applied Great Lengths Tape In Extensions from the nape of the neck up for length and volume, then cut them with a shears for a wispy effect. are applied starting at the back of the head from the nape of the neck up, building length and volume. The extensions are then cut with a textured sheer for a wispy effect to mirror the look of the fringe on the gown. Mena braided the front portion as a tribute to Indigenous people and their hairstyles.

Halle Bailey

Halle Bailey always nails a red carpet moment, and her SAG Awards look was no exception. The new mom wore her locs in a high updo and wore a rosy shadow on her lids to match her maroon tulle gown. Her long, square-shaped nails featured strips of silver metallic chrome.

Issa Rae

The Barbie star brought the curl power to the SAGs with her collarbone-length auburn ringlets and curly bangs.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish stuck to one of her signature looks, a casual twist with curtain bangs, and minimal makeup save for bubblegum pink blush and a slightly glossy lip.

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway’s long brunette hair was full, fluffy, and so luscious, it basically stole the show from her diamond snake necklace and bright blue gown. Hairstylist Adir Abergel prepped the ‘90s supermodel-inspired style with Virtue Labs Damage Reverse Serum and Volumizing Mousse, then rough dried with Shark FlexStyle. Using the Shark FlexStyle Auto-Wrap Curlers, he curled the hair into a classic barrel curl and set the hair on pins. Once it had cooled, he brushed it out with a classic Mason Pearson and applied Virtue’s Healing Oil for shine, plus Create Texturizing Spray for extra volume at the crown.

Margot Robbie

Hi Barbie! Margot Robbie mimicked the bold pink shoulder and train detail of her dress with flowing beachy blonde waves and a sweet bubblegum pink manicure.

Quinta Brunson

Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson looked every inch the icon in long Old Hollywood waves, a subtly winged eye, and a metallic magenta manicure.

Jennifer Aniston

The Morning Show‘s Jennifer Aniston showed off her recent long bob haircut and paired her silver gown with an unexpected mauve-y brown manicure.

Ayo Edebiri

Ayo Edebiri changed it up for the SAG Awards, swapping her blunt bob for longer lengths with a cute peekaboo braid detail. She matched her short, shiny black manicure with her black and white printed gown.

Penélope Cruz

Welcome to Team Bob, Penélope Cruz! Her brunette bob with soft golden blonde highlights caught the light in the most beautiful way.

Selena Gomez

Bombshell alert! Selena Gomez’s loose, voluminous brunette hair and latte lip were a beautiful contrast against her shimmering white sequined gown. Hairstylist Marissa Marino said the inspiration behind the look was “’90s Cindy Crawford,” and used a combo of Fekkai products and Kristin Ess styling tools to bring it to life. First, she spritzed in Fekkai Prep and Prime Mist, then layered the Root Lift and Glossing Cream before blowing dry. Once dry, she curled two-inch sections with the Kristin Ess Soft Bend Titanium 2″ Curling Iron, then combed through the curls with a wide tooth comb. To finish, Marino sprayed Fekkai Volume Lock Hairspray and Full Blown Volume Dry Texturizer Spray for fullness and hold.

Tracee Ellis Ross

The American Fiction star paired her custom Balmain look with space buns on either side of her head and at the nape of her neck, plus a bright white manicure.

Carey Mulligan

Getty Images

Carey Mulligan’s sleek, ultra-precise blonde bob is the definition of minimalist chic. Mulligan’s glam team, hairstylist Jenny Cho and makeup artist Nina Park, used Sisley-Paris products for both her hair and makeup.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon, nominated for The Morning Show, gave us classic Reese glam with loose blonde waves, bronzed cheeks, and a milky mani.

Ali Wong

Ali Wong’s sleek, shiny ponytail was the ideal sidekick for her 3D lasercut Iris Van Herpen dress. After blowing out the star’s hair, stylist Clayton Hawkins clipped in 26″ silk seam extensions from Bellami, then brushed her hair into a ponytail and spritzed on Living Proof’s Style Lab Flex Hairspray for hold.

Jessica Chastain

Getty Images

Jessica Chastain was feelin’ peachy from head to toe with an orangey eye, lip, and cheek, which reflected the bright ginger color of her hair. Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle used Dior Beauty’s Diorshow 5 Couleur Couture Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Dress on the star’s lids.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

Class is now in session! The Abbott Elementary scene-stealer stunned in voluminous, fluffed out bombshell curls and glossy lips.

Danielle Brooks

The Color Purple star Danielle Brooks’s low ponytail had a gorgeous little secret: when she turned around, she revealed it was partially covered in glittering silver crystals.

Greta Lee

Getty Images

The Past Lives star made a case for minimalism in a low updo with a precise center part and a peachy blush and lip.

Leighton Meester

Getty Images

Blair Waldorf in the house! Leighton Meester wore the softest, prettiest cappuccino and pink tones to complement her espresso brown satin gown and wore her hair in an equally soft, loosely twisted updo by stylist Clariss Rubenstein. Rubenstein started with Nexxus Volume Medium Hold Mousse and Nexxus Unbreakable Root Lift Thickening Spray on damp hair, then blew her hair dry with a round brush and finished with a curling iron. She then tousled Meester’s hair with “a generous amount” of Nexxus Refresh Volume Dry Shampoo and pulled it into a French twist, finishing with Nexxus Repair & Nourish Ultralight Hair Oil and Nexxus Comb Thru Finishing Mist.

Ariana Greenblatt

Getty Images

Barbie star Ariana Greenblatt isn’t out of high school yet, but she’s already graduated to red carpet pro over the past few months. Case in point: her flowing hair, bold brows, and flushed cheeks, worn with a custom deep red velvet Vera Wang gown. Hairstylist Amanda Lee used Paul Mitchell products on the actor’s elegant waves, shaping them with Pro Tools Express Ion Smooth Ceramic Flat Iron and Pro Tools Express Gold Curl Titanium Spring Curling Iron, then setting with Soft Style Super Clean Light Finishing Spray.

Fran Drescher

Getty Images

Lady in red! SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher made a statement in her voluminous blowout and cherry lip. (Oh, and massive ruby earrings.) Fran Fine would be proud.

Drescher’s longtime hairstylist Jon Lieckfelt used Hidden Crown extensions to give the star’s hair extra ’60s-inspired bombshell bounce, including Clip In Extensions and a Topper in the shade Rich Chocolate Brown.

Karen Pittman

The The Morning Show and And Just Like That star served pure, classic Hollywood glamour in her side-parted bob and glimmering violet eye shadow.

Joey King

Getty Images

Joey King threw it back to the late ‘90s with her straight blonde hair, accented with what definitely appears to be an accordion headband, or a clever recreation of said look. (Seriously, pretty sure I wore this same accessory circa 1998.) The pop of shimmery silver shadow in her inner corners also felt very Y2K-inspired. For a similar look, try Dior Beauty’s Diorshow 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palettes in Soft Cashmere and Pied-de-Poule, which makeup artist Allan Avendano used on King.

Kat Graham

Kat Graham heated things up in a luxuriously shiny reddish brown lip with a dramatic winged eye and bronze shadow combo. Team Lip Gloss, meet your captain!

Laverne Cox

The red carpet host looked gorgeous in a high blonde braid and a satiny crimson red lip, paired with a vintage Alexander McQueen look.
