On Sunday, Selena Gomez was one of many avid soccer fans gathered to watch Los Angeles FC play Inter Miami at the BMO Stadium. One of the big moments in the game was when goalkeeper John McCarthy blocked a close up shot from Argentinian star Lionel Messi. The moment was filmed on the green while at the same time another camera was trained on Gomez’s face. Her expression of shock and surprise was captured and quickly went viral on social media.

The pop star was amused by the moment too and shared a screenshot of her own wide-eyed face in her Instagram Stories, writing over the picture, “Mood.”
She shared a few other pics from the night, including a mirror selfie of her going out look. Gomez wore a flowing white top with a halter neck over a pair of wide-legged black pants. She had her hair up in a slick bun, and was wearing white sneakers and what looks like a wrist brace on one arm.
There was also a selfie taken with her little sister Gracie, where the two made silly faces into the camera together.
There were a lot of celebrities in the crowd watching Inter Miami eventually beat LA. Attendees included Prince Harry, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Ferrell (who co-owns LAFC), Owen Wilson, Mario Lopez, and Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham.
The night before the game, Gomez was at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour concert at SoFi Stadium, also joined by Gracie. They attended with Gomez’s close friends Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. Peltz shared a clip on Instagram of the group singing along to “Love On Top.”
In another picture from Peltz, Gomez is hugging Beckham’s back affectionately. Over the photo she wrote, “I love my husband and my wife @selenagomez @brooklynpeltzbeckham.”
