Swift also donned a similar look for her “Look What You Made Me Do” video from the album Reputation, which many fans considered her response to the Kanye/Kim Kardashian drama; in the video, she wore a more dramatic smoky eye and a bright red manicure to match her lips as if to take the “Old Taylor” up a notch or five. @thethriftyswiftie notes that “Look What You Made Me Do” is now five years old, which means Swift is legally able to re-record it as she’s done with some of her other albums, so could these three extremely similar looks be a clue that she’s about to revisit that (somewhat polarizing) single?

We do know one thing for sure: Swift is releasing a new album, called Midnights, in late October. However, that doesn’t mean she isn’t also plotting to whip up a “Taylor’s Version” of the 2017 song, too. The similarities between the three beauty looks and outfits could be a big hint that a Reputation revisit is also on the horizon, so grab your red lipstick and snake ring just in case.
