To share the news of their new book, Shady Baby Feels: A First Book of Emotions, Union, her husband, Dwyane Wade, and Kaavia hit up Instagram Reels to talk all things Shady Baby.
The fam shared an adorable family video announcing the latest installment in the series, which is about self-awareness and learning to regulate your emotions throughout the day, but it’s Union’s and Kaav’s curls we were most fixated on. Kaavia, the inspiration for the book series, looks cute in a lilac dress, while her mom wears a white button-down short-sleeved shirt and matching skirt. Both mother and daughter have their curls pulled up for the occasion, with Kaavia wearing hers atop her head and Union opting for a bun at the crown of her head.
The video was posted by Union’s hair care line, Flawless by Gabrielle Union, so we have a feeling her product line was instrumental in keeping the family’s curls looking, well, flawless.
