Blake Lively had a princess moment in a beaded Atelier Versace floral ball gown during the Copenhagen premiere of her film It Ends With Us last night. Lively wore her blonde hair down in soft waves as she posed in the semi-sheer dress from the house’s spring/summer 2018 couture collection. Her co-star Isabela Ferrer, who plays the younger version of her character Lily Bloom, appeared with her in a sparkly black gown of her own.
This is Lively’s second stop on the European leg of her press tour. She began it in London, where she wore a stunning column gown by Tamara Ralph at the city’s premiere for the film.
After the screening, she joined her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for a date at Chiltern Firehouse. She changed into a full Thom Browne couture look for that outing, featuring a floral design-adorned jacket, a button-down, and a pleated miniskirt.
Lively spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about how she knew Ferrer was the right person to play the younger version of Lily once she watched Ferrer’s audition tape. “We were like, ‘This is crazy,’” Lively said. “And there were other great actresses who gave great performances, but there was just no one but her. Because even if she didn’t act in a similar way as me or speak in a similar way or have similar mannerisms or look like me or have the same mole, her performance was so strong, her heart was so strong.”
Lively’s close friend Taylor Swift even had a little say in the decision, Ferrer told Extra. “She was a helpful part of the audition, which I found out later when I got it, and that rocked my world,” Ferrer said. “I have no words.”
